My client is a global leader in the coal sector. Having been established for over 120 years, they have over 30 operations internationally, a third of which are stationed in New South Wales and Queensland.
Due to substantial growth and unprecedented success, my client is now seeking a talented Mine Planning Engineer to be based in central Queensland.
This role will be reporting to the general manager.
Responsibilities:

Communication of mining targets and issues with stakeholders, senior management, technical professionals and operational personal at a senior level

Monitoring and implementing safety, environment and quality on site

Cost/benefit analysis on strategies, both medium and long term
-
Compilation of reports in a clear and concise manner
Requirements:
-
4+ years local experience in a similar role
-
Appropriate degree in Mining Engineering

Proven track record of successful projects, having been involved in all aspects of mine planning

Salary will be negotiated based on experience.
